Vision Setting and Beyond is a six-week workshop—with weekly two-and-a-half-hour classes and homework—which takes you on a journey of constructing your very own vision with Shaykh Sajid Umar. You also have the opportunity, at the end of the six weeks, to sit with him, review your vision together and implement his suggestions for your vision.
As Muslims, having a vision for our life pushes us to have high aspirations and try our very best to achieve these goals. It motivates us to do better. But creating a vision is not only for ourselves, it also enables us to push our families and wider community to be the best they can be.

Meet Your Instructor
Shaykh Sajid Umar
He is a qualified Mufti and judge, as well as an educator, author, researcher, and developer with a vision of ignited communities that benefit humanity upon the ethos of sincerity, excellence and steadfastness. Shaykh Sajid has a Master’s degree in Judiciary (Qadha) from the Higher Institute for Judiciary Studies (Ma’had al-‘āli li’l-Qa’dhā). After training as a judge, he went on to pursue a PhD in the Higher Institute of Judiciary at Al-Imam University.
Shaykh Sajid is a lecturer at Knowledge International University since 2010 and a senior member of their Academic Management Team. He is a lecturer and senior advisor for the New Muslim Academy and holds an advisory role with Mercy Mission World as ‘Director of Islamic Development’ with a scope of application over high-impact projects such as the National Zakat Foundation and Charity Right. He is the chairman of AlKauthar Institute, an instructor for AlKauthar’s Weekend Courses and Student’s Guild Programme, and Chief Islamic Editor for Little Explorers Magazine.
