Salah
She would lead the Muslim women - members of her family, her relatives and friends - in prayers. She was overwhelmed with happiness to be worshipping Allah amidst a group of women whose ranks kept swelling every day, and who constantly supplicated to Allah and remembered Him.
Umar ibn al-Khattab, woke up for Fajr prayer. He noticed that something was different. When he finished the prayer, he told people: By Allah I did not hear the recitation of my aunt last night!
She spent most of her time in prayer and meditation in a little Masjid that she had made in the corner of her house.
Jabir ibn Abdillah reports that Rasulullah (ﷺ) said: “The key to Jannah is Salah and the key to Salah is wudu.” (Sunan al-Tirmidhi)
Fasting
“She is an oft fasting and worshipping lady and she will be your wife in Paradise too.” [Mustadrak al-Hakim 4/15]
From Hudhaifah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever’s actions are sealed with fasting a day enters paradise’ [al-Bazzaar, authenticated by Albani Sahih al-Jami’ 6224]
‘Fasting will say: O Lord, I prevented him from food and drink during the day, so let me intercede for him’ (Musnad Aḥmad 6589, Sahih according to Ahmad Shakir)
Modesty
‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) met me as I was carrying date-stones upon my head and there was with him a group of his Companions. He told the camel to kneel so that I could mount it but I felt shy from him and I remembered your Ghirah.’
Invoke Allah for me that I may not become uncovered. (Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5652 and Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2576)
She became extremely shy and did not have the nerve or courage to ask her father in front of other people.
They do not allow shyness to prevent them from understanding the religion.
Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Vulgarity is not found in anything but that it disgraces it, and modesty is not found in anything but that it beautifies it.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhī 1974]
How to Please One's Spouse
Ask Allah for me to be your wife in the hereafter as well. I want to be your wife in Jannah.
‘Allāh’s Messenger ﷺ said, ‘A woman will be with the last of her husbands,’’—and I want no one in his place.” [Silsalat As-Sahihah] So she refused everyone after her husband.
“If I become angry, then try to please me. If you become angry, then I will try to please you. Were we not to act this way, how quickly would we be separated!” (Rawḍat al-‘Uqalā’, 41)
The Prophet (ﷺ) “The best of your women are those who are bearers of many children, loving, comforting and tolerant – provided that they have taqwa of Allah”. (Al-Bayhaqi, verified authentic by al-Albani)
