The Prophet (saw) did not leave behind wealth or commodities but he left behind the knowledge and pristine principles of Islam. He also left behind Companions, men and women who had a deep understanding of these principles and a thorough insight in applying these principles. These men and women were the leaders who took the message of Islam to the world and brought Islam as a solution for humanities ills and problems.

Sabeel believes that societal development and change will come through developing Muslims will similar knowledge and understanding – making them leaders who are well founded in traditional Islamic principles and are able to promote the pristine teachings of Islam.

We want to take those who want to make a positive difference due to their conviction in the eternal message of Islam and providing them with the tools and cultivation to become potent believers, who have a clear understanding of the principles of Islam, who have grounded knowledge of core Islamic subjects and the ability to apply these in the context within which they live.

Seminars

The Sabeel Seminars are a unique way in which knowledge of key Islamic topics and Principles are taught by Scholars and Students of Knowledge. At these seminars you are invited to take a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of your normal life to partake in two days of interactive study and nourishment.

Open to brothers and sisters you will be provided with handbooks and resources and all classes are delivered in an interactive way allowing you as the student to gain a comprehensive understanding of important Islamic and contemporary subjects in an easy way. Learn more about seminars here

Retreats

Have you ever wanted to spend a weekend with scholars and knowledgeable students? At Sabeel retreats (currently open to brothers only) you are given the opportunity to spend time with different resident scholars and students of knowledge learning, discussing, eating, sleeping and socializing with them. You are provided with handbooks and resources and classes are delivered in an interactive way allowing you the student to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of important subjects that will help build your framework of understanding. The Study Retreat will also allow you to network with others who are present; partake in Quran reading, Discussions, Q&A sessions, Workshops and Team Building sessions. Learn more about retreats here
