Question: What is the Format of a Study Retreat?
Answer: We believe a Muslim’s development is not only about increasing in knowledge but nourishing the soul. Therefore Sabeel study retreats are normally held over a weekend (2 or 3 days) and require you the participant to be resident spending their time partaking in intensive study sessions, discussions and other activities. Sessions and courses are developed and taught by recognised scholars and students of knowledge. As part of the cultivation programme and brotherhood-building students may be required to partake in various activities such as giving presentations or cooking.
Question:What’s the next step and how can I partake in the next Sabeel Study Retreat?
Answer: To see a list of upcoming retreats and to register your place click here. To maxamise the benefit of the retreats for the participants the number of attendees is limited so book as soon as possible.
Question: How much will all this cost?
Answer: Retreat prices vary depending on the length of the retreat and the cost of the facilities. But at Sabeel we make it an obligation on ourselves to make our retreats and courses as affordable as feasibly possible. We also have a policy that not being able to afford the cost should never deter anyone from attending a retreat - if you find yourself in this situation simply register and notify us of your circumstances and we will do all we can to make it possible for you to attend and benefit insha Allah.
